What happened to Learn Mode.
Viki's Learn Mode — the built-in feature that showed two subtitle tracks with clickable words on selected shows — has been discontinued by Viki (their support center confirms the sunsetting). It was many K-drama learners' first taste of subtitle-based study, and its retirement left Viki, home of one of the largest K-drama and C-drama catalogs anywhere, without a native learning feature.
The replacement: a browser extension.
Extensions rebuilt this functionality — and went further than Learn Mode ever did. But platform support is the catch: most subtitle tools never covered Viki. Language Reactor is Netflix + YouTube.
