The pricing page nearly always shows a countdown promo. We track the list prices as the durable truth ($42/yr and $105.60/yr) and treat any lower number as the sale of the season. This isn't a criticism unique to Trancy — promo-cycling is common in language apps — but it means "Trancy discount" hunting is mostly about not paying the un-promoted monthly rate, which the annual promos undercut dramatically.
Do you even need the discount?

Most casual learners never need to upgrade. Upgrade when you hit the caps or want the AI features — and when you do, the annual promo price is the only price worth paying.
