Cancelling a paid subscription.
Cancel anytime from your Lingopie account. Per their policy: "When you cancel, we'll stop billing you for the next billing cycle. You can keep using Lingopie until the end of the billing period." So cancellation is really "don't renew me" — you lose nothing you've paid for.
The refund rules, plainly.
Monthly subscriptions: payments for the current month are final. Yearly subscriptions: charged after your 7-day free trial ends, and per Lingopie's policy, can't be refunded after that. This makes the trial deadline the decision point that matters.
Cancelling during the free trial.
The 7-day trial gives full access and Lingopie states you won't be charged during it. If you don't want to continue, cancel before day 7 — after that, a yearly plan charge is non-refundable. Practical advice we give for every trial: set a reminder on day 6.
Before you go — was it the price or the format?
If Lingopie's curated-library format wasn't the issue but the price was, note the plan differences: the 3-month plan ($41.97) covers one language only, while the yearly plan covers all 15.
